3. Purpose of Use
Collected information is used strictly for:
- Real-time APM alert delivery on WhatsApp
- Incident escalation and acknowledgment
- Service availability & uptime improvement
- Business continuity & rapid recovery support
- Audit documentation & compliance traceability
The information is never used for:
- Advertising or promotional messages
- Lead generation
- Data resale or marketing campaigns
4. Consent
By voluntarily sharing their mobile number or opting to receive IT/infra alerts on WhatsApp, users provide informed consent to receive operational notifications. Users may withdraw consent at any time by requesting removal from the alert group.
5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Access
Personal data is not sold, rented, or shared for commercial purposes.
Data may be shared only with:
- WhatsApp / Meta Platforms for delivery of messages
- Internal IT teams (NOC/SOC/Infra/DevOps) for authorized operations and
escalation
No other third-party access is permitted.

- Role-based access control (RBAC) within ExperWatch APM
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS / SSL)
- Secure message APIs
- Secure message APIs
- Principle of least privilege for system access
Data is hosted and stored securely within the organization’s IT environment, and WhatsApp delivery records may be retained for compliance auditing per internal policy.
8. Data Retention
Information is retained only for operational, forensic and compliance purposes and for no longer than necessary to fulfil the purpose of alert management. Users may request deletion of their phone number from alert systems at any time.
9. User Rights
Users have the following rights:
- Access the information stored about them
- Request correction of their phone number or display name
- Request opt-out / deletion from APM WhatsApp alert distribution
- Withdraw consent for WhatsApp communication
Requests will be processed within a reasonable timeframe subject to IT governance approvals.
10. Updates to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect:
- New legal or regulatory requirements
- Enhancements to security or infrastructure
- Modifications to alert delivery mechanisms

WhatsApp alerts sent by Litmus Information Systems LLP are used strictly and exclusively for operational monitoring, outage alerts, escalation, performance updates, and business continuity purposes. The integration is not used for marketing, promotions, or unsolicited communication of any kind.
